Gattinara Riserva DOCG "CESARE" 2018
Selection of Gattinara, produced only in the best vintages, with 100% Nebbiolo grapes, Cesare is born from the vineyards of hills with ancient volcanic origin, endowed with rocky soils rich in iron minerals. A careful harvest selection, intense and prolonged maceration, and subsequent aging in a particular type of tonneau make Cesare a Gattinara already ready to amaze noses and palates; for this reason, the amount of added sulfites is kept to a minimum. The color is garnet red, and on the nose it develops floral aromas of dried violets before opening up with notes of plum jam and cherries in alcohol. Elegant flavor with well-expressed tannins, abundant but balanced and pleasant, broad sensations of warm and ripe fruits, fresh and savory final trail.
